Welcome!

Welcome Country Register readers! I created this blog for two main reasons. One is so I can update readers on any shop or event news that would be pertinent for readers to know before the next issue of The Country Register prints. The second reason is so readers of The Country Register can share positive comments about advertising shops and events.

You may notice I said ‘positive’. This blog is to promote shops and share good experiences. I do not want it used as a way to tell about a bad experience at a shop or event or to write a negative comment if you didn’t like a shop. If you have a problem with a shop or event, please contact them directly. Who knows, maybe they were having a bad day and you should give them a second chance. If something bad is written, I will delete it. Enough said about that.

BUT I DO WANT TO HEAR ABOUT GOOD EXPERIENCES, WHAT YOU LIKE ABOUT A SHOP OR WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE. And if you find a shop that you like that currently is not advertising, please use this blog as a way to let me know so I can contact them.

So get out and enjoy the great places to shop across Kansas and make sure to take The Country Register along as your guide! Tell the advertisers you saw their ad so they will keep advertising and you will keep having this FREE paper filled with articles, patterns, recipes and of course ads for many shops and events.
